Hi, I’m Nicki, a children’s picture book illustrator based in Manchester, UK. I love creating cute, playful, and colourful artwork that celebrates the tender, joy-filled moments of childhood. Working in Procreate and incorporating traditional textures, I bring to life expressive characters with a strong focus on the power of representation in both art and storytelling.

With a love for bright palettes and heartfelt narratives, I combine my illustration skills with my background in graphic design to craft pieces that are both visually striking and full of character. Much of my inspiration comes from daily life with my two children, whose perspectives, humour, and honesty constantly shape my artistic journey (and add plenty of chaos to the stories I tell!).

When I’m not illustrating, you’ll find me in the pottery studio hand-building pieces and experimenting with glazes.
